You need to journal, and reflect on your journals, in order to keep track of your progress. Setting this up before studying is vital. Methods of Journalling include: Notion, Trello, Discord, etc.
There are around 5-6 “Types of Trader”, you need to choose the one that suits YOUR lifestyle. The Type of Trader you are is directly to tied to your target setting and monthly goals. For example, you can’t be a scalper and have an ultra-unrealistic target. It’ll kill your win-rate.
You need to create the most honest environment for yourself when backtesting. Set up the process how I do it in the video, this ensures you can’t cheat yourself. If you’re dishonest in your backtesting, I promise you it’s just a big waste of time. Don’t cheat!
The study of “Transitions” is what we focus on here in the Endura program. Structure is the backbone of Market Direction. Trends are depicted simple by the lows and highs that are printed in the market. There are 3 types of “trend”: Up, Down, No Mans Land (NML/Undefined). Trading in the direction of the trend will give you the highest probability/edge of winning your trade.
A continuation break of structure (CBOS) refers to a break of structure that signifies a continuation. A reversal break of structure (RBOS) refers to a break of structure that signifies a reversal. It’s important not to get them mixed up, however different situations can present different interpretations
The External range is typically the bigger term, ACTUAL direction the market is trading in. Usually classified as the “Impulse” move. The Internal range is the movement occurring within the external itself. Can also be classified as the “correction” or”pullback”. Adjust your targets based on the high’s/low’s of the external range, or the POI’s within the internal range if you’re trading a reversal (subject to the trading situation).
Sometimes it’s very important to ensure that all of your timeframes are lining up in the same direction as each other. For example, if you’re looking to sell, for the highest advantage possible, make sure all of your timeframes are aligned.
